Of course, you need to download our free social media template first and save it in a folder together with other marketing tools. When you open it, you’ll notice at the bottom of the spreadsheet that there are 12 tabs, one for each month in a year. Switching between each month is easy by just clicking on these tabs.
On top, you will see the month and year and key images representing four tasks: Facebook Live, Video, Image, and Photo. You will use these images to tell your team what’s the mission of the day. We use pictures as a reminder since our brains can easily remember visuals better than words.
Then, you can start filling up the cells with the type of content you want to promote. Use the key images on top to give you an idea of what you’ll be advertising for that day. Also, use color coding for the text to align with the campaign’s purpose- say color red for holiday messages and light blue for marketing tips.

Pro-Tip: Do not delete the content schedule for each month. You can copy and paste them in the subsequent months if you need to repeat the content. The information may only need just a few tweaks, so you don’t need to start all over again.

Once you’re done with all the entries, you can still change it to supplemental content if you wish. Trends are constantly changing, that’s why you need to make sure that you only post updated information. Breaking news? Don’t forget to tweet it. Someone tweets an interesting feed? Retweet it in your profile with some commentary.
Same on Facebook — make it a habit to reply to interesting comments from anyone. You can say a little thank you note for positive feedback from your audience. Respond with a follow-up comment for those who would like to request more information about the product or service you offer. If you don’t have the time to do this, you can hire a social media manager who can create content and respond to the comments.
Devoting at least 30 minutes in the morning and afternoon to reply to exciting comments is crucial. You don’t need to put this task on the calendar since it needs to be part of your daily routine.
